Our promise first
Before we talk about refunds — bring it back. If a noise came back, the steering still pulls, the warning light is on again, or anything we touched feels off, return to the shop and we'll re-inspect at no cost. Most concerns are solved with a 20-minute recheck and a re-test drive.
Labor warranty
Labor on every repair we perform is covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date on your invoice, whichever comes first. If the same failure recurs on a part we installed, the redo is on us — no charge for labor, no charge for the replacement part.
Tires
- Unmounted tires can be returned in saleable condition within 30 days for a full refund to the original payment method.
- Once a tire is mounted, it's yours — but the manufacturer's mileage warranty and any road-hazard coverage you purchased still apply, and we handle those claims for you.
- Special-order or staggered fitments are non-refundable once we've placed the order with the supplier.
Wheels & rims
Custom wheels are special-order in almost every case. Once they've shipped from the supplier we can't refund them, but we will exchange any wheel that arrives damaged or with a finish defect. Mounted wheels can be exchanged within seven days only if the curb side is untouched and the centerbore shows no install marks.
Diagnostic fees
A diagnostic fee covers the tech's time on the vehicle. We credit it back when you approve the related repair with us. If we couldn't reproduce the concern, the fee still covers the time spent — but we'll usually invite you back for a free re-check when the symptom returns.
Deposits & special orders
- Deposits are taken on special-order parts (custom wheels, staggered tire fitments, performance components, hard-to-source OEM parts) so we can place the order with confidence.
- Deposits are fully refundable until we've placed the order with the supplier.
- Once the supplier has the order, the deposit becomes non-refundable — but it stays on file as store credit toward the part if you change your mind, and we'll use it toward another comparable item whenever we can.
- We'll always tell you the deposit amount and the refund cutoff before we charge anything.
Work we couldn't finish
Sometimes a job hits a wall — a part backordered, a related failure that changes the scope, a problem the vehicle has that's outside what an independent shop can safely tackle. If we can't finish the work you authorized:
- You only pay for the labor and parts actually completed and consumed up to that point.
- Diagnostic fees still apply for the time spent isolating the concern.
- Any prepaid labor for work that didn't happen is refunded to your original payment method.
- Special-order parts that already shipped from the supplier follow the deposit policy above.
We'll explain everything in writing before you pick up the vehicle and recommend the next step — whether that's a return visit, a dealer referral, or a full stop.
Specials, coupons & gift cards
- Coupon codes have to be applied at the time of service — we can't adjust an invoice after the fact.
- Specials can't be combined with each other unless the offer says so.
- Gift cards are non-refundable but never expire and can be used toward any service or product.
Refund timing & method
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds typically post within 3–5 business days depending on your bank. Cash refunds over $200 may be issued by check for our security and yours. We'll always email or text you a copy of the refund receipt.
If we still can't agree
Ask for the manager. Walk through the repair order and the vehicle with us. We've been doing this for nearly two decades and a calm in-shop conversation resolves nearly every dispute. If we still can't land somewhere fair, you're entitled to file a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation — but we'd much rather make it right ourselves.
This page is general information about how the shop handles refunds and adjustments. It isn't legal advice. The binding terms for any specific job are on the written repair order you sign at drop-off.
